*IMPORTANT NOTE: the following service will be held at WIN Health Institute in Basalt. See directions, below.*

June 7: Don't Fence Me In...
Rev. Robert Latham

(Unitarian Universalism as Evolution of Belief) The identity of most religions is built around a static set of beliefs. These beliefs are called a dogma.  We Unitarian Universalists are different because our beliefs are evolutional.  We have a living faith statement. During this service we will explore why this is the case and what it means for truth seekers.
PS.  The title of the service is from an old western cowboy song.  Look it up. It's a metaphorical clue to our religious identity. Rev. Latham will sing a UU version of this song during the service.

Robert T. Latham is a native Texan and grew up in the Southern Baptist tradition. He has a BA from Baylor University and two Master of Theology degrees. For more of his curriculum vitae, go to http://www.mythinglink.com/

* The service begins at 10:30 a.m.at WIN Health Institute, 1460 East Valley Road, Basalt and all are welcome. From Aspen, go past Basalt, then turn left at the Original Road traffic light. From Carbondale, go past ElJebel and turn right at the Original Road light. Look for the green roofs of the two large medical buildings on East Valley Road. WIN is the building farthest from Hwy 82.

*Our second service is at 11:00 a.m. in Glenwood's Gregory Park. Drive west past the Glenwood Springs Mall, turn right onto Storm King Road, proceed north to Center Drive, then left about a block. The park has a shelter, water,  cooker, playground, and a beautiful creek meandering through.

June 21: A Potpourri of Poetry...
